Details

1. Decisions on taking business in private: The Committee will decide whether to take items 4 and 5 in private.

2. European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018: The Committee will consider a proposal by the Scottish Government to consent to the UK Government legislating using the powers under the Act in relation to the following UK statutory instrument proposals—
The Plant Health (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020. The Plant Health (Amendment) (No.2) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020. The Common Organisation of the Markets in Agricultural Products (Miscellaneous Amendments) (EU Exit) (No.2) Regulations 2020

3. European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018: The Committee will consider correspondence from the Scottish Government regarding the UK Government legislating using the powers under the Act in relation to the following UK statutory instruments —
The Common Organisation of the Markets in Agricultural Products (Miscellaneous Amendments) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020. The Common Organisation of the Markets in Agricultural Products (Producer Organisations and Wine) (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 (“the AGS-04 Regulations”).

4. Scottish Government Climate Change Plan: The Committee will consider its approach to consideration of a forthcoming draft revision of the Climate Change Plan.

5. Financial scrutiny – Covid-19 impact: The Committee will consider draft correspondence to the Scottish Government.

6. Construction and procurement of ferry vessels in Scotland (in private): The Committee will consider a draft report.
The Committee will reconvene at 14:00 in Committee Room 3 to continue consideration of the draft report.
